Don't copy anything else... don't copy anything else... don't—

You know when you're holding something important in your clipboard, then all of a sudden you ⌘C something else and... poof, it's gone?

Clipbasket catches everything you copy so you can retrieve what you copied 10 minutes ago, 10 days ago, or even last month. Stop keeping a mental log of your clipboard: that's our job now.

Extract text inside images

Select & copy text from your screenshots

Take your screenshots as usual: Clipbasket will not only keep track of them, but extract all text so you can select, copy, and search any of it. Receipts, images, PDFs that won't let you select anything. Clipbasket reads them all for you. If you can see the text, you can copy it.

Ready for AI

Copy from the web, paste clean Markdown

The last thing you want to do when talking with an AI is waste time cleaning up garbage formatting from a recipe, support article, or product page. No clutter, weird spacing, invisible characters. Clipbasket converts it for you, so you can start feeding ChatGPT and any other AI clean text in Markdown format.

100% local. Everything stays in your Mac.

No account. Your clipboard never leaves your computer.

Javi

Why I built this

Your clipboard only keeps one item at a time. That's crazy.

Hi! I'm Javi and I make little apps like Clipbasket.

One day, I copied something important. Spent the next hour reorganizing files, deleting old stuff, waiting for the moment to paste this thing. The whole time I was thinking: "It's fine, I have it in my clipboard."

Then I accidentally hit ⌘C on something else.

It was gone! I spent 45 minutes trying to recover it but I couldn't. I searched online if macOS kept a history of your clipboard, but I sadly learned this the hard way: your Mac's clipboard only holds one thing by default.

And that's why you're reading this website now.
